The other night Cat and I took a walk in the evening. The season has changed. The trees are blooming. The birds are here. And it’s a great time to own a car wash.
The transportation industry has changed too. We’re sliding back over to a shippers market after 2 years of a grind.
I suppose I don’t know much that hasn’t changed.
It’s one of the things I love about photos. Photos capture moments. Ed Sheeran pens it eloquently. Time’s forever frozen still.
It’s probably the closest thing I’ll ever see to a time machine.
We’ve seen a lot of change in our company over 30 years. And we’ve seen a lot of growth, inside the company, and personally as well.

This one (God love her, she puts up with so much from me), she had just recovered from being in the hospital for a heart attack and broken hand from when she fell. There was so much outpouring from everyone, it was truly amazing.
We had shirts made with a new logo and everyone had nick names on the back of them. Hers said Mom and mine said Son. I still have them both.
And Christmas has always been our favorite holiday together.
And here we were celebrating her 70th birthday in the office.
Our life has always been the business. Not because we’re out to become the biggest or the best. We’ve just wanted to make a living and provide a way for other folks to do the same. And we’ve all become family with them over the years.
